Huge Beetle with a Baby-03

I looked at all my insect books and could not find this beetle.

I want to thank *Emeowrald for sending me the this links to this beetle bug, she won a one year sub from on of my club/groups for helping out with an act of kindness and for all of her help.

This beetle bug is called Palo Verde Borer Beetle & also called Palo Verde Borer Beetles in the Low Desert

If anybody knows what it is please let me know.

This is just as is and that is the true size of it with a baby on it's back.

I'm so very highly allergic to all insects and didn't want to get to close to it, but just had to get far to close to take a photo of that beetle bug/insect.

The whole time I was so praying that the beetle would not come to me and then told myself go for it and stop being a coward over such a huge ugly beetle bug insect & no guts no glory. I promise you all that I was infact afraid of it and didn't want to have to use my EpiPen (Epinephine) Auto-Injector again like I had to do in the past when a wolf spider had bite me many times.

I opened my legs so much just to take photos of that beetle. It had all the dirt on it's body and hurried to get out of the ground.

I was getting irrigation on that day and that beetle came out of the ground so fast as the water was flowing into it's so call it home, it's hole in the ground, which I kept wondering why there was so many holes that were large in the ground in my back yard.
