Erect cactus grows up to 8 or 10 feet tall, has reddish brown spines and easily detached joints. Rose to purple flowers appear in the spring or summer.
This cactus is to my far north 7 foot block wall in my back yard and if someone trys to jump that wall they are going to feel the pain of all my cactus.
I never noticed until now that the photo i took that the ants were trying to go eat the flower and that i had the other cactus in the background which is blurred.
